Ken Gargett Posted November 29, 2013 Posted November 29, 2013 get up after a night of pouring rain. all power in our area is out, so i have had to relocate. but before i go, i'm tapping away on the computer (granted sitting in my jocks but have not been up for long). look down and next to my bare feet - a whopping great scorpion. seriously? david attenborough could set up camp in my living room. save him flying around the globe so often. so now i have a grumpy scorpion in a jar, wondering what to do with it (english dressing room?). suggestions?

oliverdst Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 Put it inside your humi. People say scorpions are marvellous to kill beetles. Non-smoker scorpions, of course.
Ken Gargett Posted November 30, 2013 Author Posted November 30, 2013 Put it inside your humi. People say scorpions are marvellous to kill beetles. Non-smoker scorpions, of course. good idea. would keep rob from poking around. normally fine to sleep as they are supposed to be outside.
Philprop Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 Seems like in Australia everything is designed to kill you, plants, insects, animals., the only thing we have to worry aboutn ere in Newfoundland is cold, hitting a moose while driving and potentially black bears, even then only really when you are back country camping.

Colt45 Posted November 30, 2013 Posted November 30, 2013 different jocks. Too late, the damage is done. Stuart is a nice name, but I also kind of like Little Scorpo or Herbie the Christmas Scorpion.....
amosnaim Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Ken, you should seriously consider setting up some webcams in your house and start broadcasting to the National Geographic as a reality show... this is unreal what's going on in your place. be safe.

Certain observations would have to be pixilated. Might not be much material left!!!
Philprop Posted December 1, 2013 Posted December 1, 2013 Don't forget scrunchions Phil, now THEY will kill you! Yeah but they will just slowly clog your arteries over time. So that's not as bad.
Habana Mike Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 Mmmmm, scrunchions....we call 'em cracklins here in Jawjuh.... Wonder how deep fried scorpions would be, Scorpchions?
Warren Posted December 2, 2013 Posted December 2, 2013 You'll start wearing Khaki shirts soon. You would have to keep an eye out for stingrays in the kitchen sink though.
