hebbe72 Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 I thoroughly enjyo almost all of the Partags range cigars. One that have yet to find its way in to the humi is the PC Especiales. They come in a decent price range but I would still like some input on them before spending any money on a box or two. All comments appreciated
SteveGriff Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 I've smoked a few, they pack quite a punch, strong Cigar. Give them a try, reasonably priced. Because of their strength, I don't know if I could bring myself to buying a box... not sure where they would fit into my rotation. Make that Espresso strong.
Smallclub Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 In the same price range and in a similar size I find the Mille Fleur more balanced and a little more complex. That said, I like all these "mid-range" Partagas (De Luxe, Super, Aristocrats, Habaneros, Senior A/T, Junior A/T)…
SiegeA Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 I'd echo schlomo's take on them which is pretty indicative, although I do smoke them in the morning sometimes. For the price, they're good value. If you like to Party, why not make it an Especiales one? : )
laficion Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 It's a strong cigar , really,a Partagas smoke, NICE!!!!!!!
sengjc Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Excellent value for money. It is quite a full-on smoke too so plenty of bang for your buck.
hebbe72 Posted October 9, 2013 Author Posted October 9, 2013 Thank´s for all the input people. Looks like something I need to try a box of.
shrink Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 I am really fond of these smokes. I have a couple 2008 boxes, and these have mellowed into merely strong and spicy cigars, with classic Partagas profile. Highly recommended.
MontrealRon Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 In the same price range and in a similar size I find the Mille Fleur more balanced and a little more complex. That said, I like all these "mid-range" Partagas (De Luxe, Super, Aristocrats, Habaneros, Senior A/T, Junior A/T)… I have most of these in my regular rotation, with multiple boxes, as I like them both fresh and aged. All are classic Partagas, and are extremely consistant in construction and style, so they can be bought blind without fear, even in Cuba. At their price point, they are rarely if ever faked. Of many hundreds smoked, I don't recall even one that was plugged.
