nick87night Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 So since i got a few more treats in the mail, i decided to break out the camera and see if i could take something decent.
ToroRph Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Nice shots! Did you smoke one? If so, how was it? Cheers
nick87night Posted September 1, 2013 Author Posted September 1, 2013 they just came in today actually, so the little guys need to rest a bit before i get to get my hands on em. they smell amazing though, i seriously can't wait!
Mxmike Posted September 1, 2013 Posted September 1, 2013 Nice haul, great pics let us know how they smoke!
nick87night Posted September 5, 2013 Author Posted September 5, 2013 It was a nikon d90 with a tokina 35mm macro lens. It's fun and easy to shoot close up. Personally I've always been a nikon guy. Ever since I shot 35mm on my nikon 20/20. Canons' build quality just lacked so much for the cameras in my budget. I wasn't going to spend 3000+ for a weekend toy. Haha
mk05 Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 pictures look great. I don't even have a camera. good stuff
Rye Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 Very nice pics! This confirms my need of a real camera
guideright Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 Really makes your sticks shine - nice....
Ken Gargett Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 you make out focus or make blur with photoshop? if no photoshop, more practise bc too much out focus! or maybe lens is problem. but nice! they look all right to me? perhaps i am a smidge biased as love nikon cameras.
nick87night Posted November 12, 2013 Author Posted November 12, 2013 Bastian I shot these on purpose with a single section in focus. Not photoshopped nor is there anything wrong with my lens haha
NMJoe Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 you make out focus or make blur with photoshop? if no photoshop, more practise bc too much out focus! or maybe lens is problem. but nice! I believe his intent was a very shallow depth of field, which he accomplished quite well. Nice photos.
