I have 20+rods, 20 + reels, 1000 fly's (approx) and more crap than you poke a stick at.

Show me a pick of your storage system because I have none and that is absolutely peeving me off and I want to rectify it as of .....well.....yesterday!

you've seen mine. it is called a house and garage. shove your stuff in anywhere then search desperately for something when you need it - nothing like frantically looking for your fly reels at 4am in the morning when you need to be at the airport by 7.

but fortunately, they were where i had put them for safety. under the futon.

I don't have nearly that size of a collection, but I keep my 10 or so rods nailed to the garage wall. 2 nails, spaced a meter apart, and rest a rod along that. Works great, and I can see what I want to grab, and leave a lure on without it snagging on absolutely every single thing it can find through the house.

I keep everything in big Tupperware tubs on a shelf in the garage, rod tubes are all safely tucked away in a stand-up rack in the corner. When I get the call, I grab a two tubs, rod tubes and run as fast as I can...

Mine's a simple setup:

- A couple of Sage custom built rods

- A couple of Nitro rods

- One heavy rod: Rapala

Egg beater reel pairings: some Daiwas and some Shimanos.

Fly rods mostly stay in their tubes. One or two are standing up in the garage. The rest of the spinning rods and bait casters are standing in the garage. You can use simple clips to hold them in place. All of the reels and fly boxes go in bags on shelves. The vest and waders are hung on a rack.

EBay rod holder, for the lighter stuff. Tackle boxes with draws for appropriate bits and pieces . It does make things a lot easier when you can access what you want. A do a lot of black bream fishing in the winter in the tinny so this is my river rack. River cigars, rum oh man makes for a great day .

When you get all your piercings, you can stick your flies in those - should go great with the new car and stingray foot gear. Not so sure about the rods.......

My dad and I store all of our fishing gear in a 36 inch wide gladiator garage works cabinet. It houses all of our waders, rods and vests/accessories.
