Good idea Fuzz! I might actually go to the hardware store and buy some sort of coarse bastard stone file tomorrow and try to file some rivets into it. I'll take the mortar in with me and see what they recommend. It looks really good as an ashtray. Sort of unassuming.

Their humis are very good prices too, I grabbed a display one for my singles at Christmas and the workmanship on it is excellent, the seal is so tight! a 400 count desktop for £150!
