jazzmonkey Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Never saw this before. I have about 10 sticks left from my box of Simones. And I picked up one that had reddish spots on the wrapper. I wasn't able to capture it in the pictures of the wrapper, but you can see it in the ash. Anyone has seen this before or know what it could be? All the others are fine. I've smoked half of it and didn't taste like the others I've had. It actually didn't have any flavours, just mild tobacco taste. Thanks.
jazzmonkey Posted July 27, 2013 Author Posted July 27, 2013 Paprika Lol. At least, that would have given it some flavors
Hohenthal Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 I've experienced that with an aged Sancho Panza Belicoso, the same "brick-red" colour on the wrapper and, after the smoke, the ash. Loved it, you don't see these things a lot. Terrific flavour too, I think I even posted a review on this particularily fine example. Cheers, Alex
