Skyfall Posted July 10, 2013 Share Posted July 10, 2013 Without a doubt, the single worst movie I have seen physically in a movie theater in my entire life. 2.5 hours of ridiculous nonsense. One of the worst casts ever gathered for a summer blockbuster. Horrible acting Horrible Script (if there was one) Horrible Direction : This is the guy who ruined Pirated of the Caribbean with the 3rd piece of crap. Two different movies, neither of which would have been good on their own. It went from dark with potential to cheesy and campy and 3 stooges like. Johnny Depp and Barry Pepper should be ashamed. Armie Hammer will likely never work again. Rotten tomatoes gives it a 22/100 I am at 5/100 due to nice cinematography Disney lost a ton of money on this one!!!! Might have to pass on this one, though I suspect the wife (Depp fan) will want to go. Me? I'm anxiously awaiting the Pacific Rim opening this Friday. Lanejsl Posted July 11, 2013 Share Posted July 11, 2013 I'm going to be the, we'll...Lone Reviewer here and break tide. I actually enjoyed the flick. It's a good movie to take your kids to see. Lots of clever humor and action. Hammer isn't a very good actor in my opinion but Depp is decent as always. For a guy like me who grew up on the Lone Ranger it was cool to hear the theme music played against the backdrop of gun fire and action. Again, if you have kids it's probably worth seeing. Mainly terrible because of Johnny Depp. What is it with Depp and Helena Bonham Carter always in movies together? It actually kills the movie where one sees the same actors together all the time.
