Guest rob Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 . That said there must a huge sense of injustice as a batsman or bowler when the umpire makes an LBW or caught behind mistake, . I can only imagine how big the injustice feels to have the umpires utilising the DRS make a mistake...
Danston Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 Looks like pattinson is out for the series with a stress fracture, I'm guessing that means Starc to replace him, who will replace Harris if he doesn't remain fit? Johnson? Maybe a chance of another spinner at old Trafford if the weather remains dry
winelover Posted July 22, 2013 Posted July 22, 2013 I can only imagine how big the injustice feels to have the umpires utilising the DRS make a mistake... Check tweet from CricketAUS befire it was deleted! To be fair it was an absolute shocker.

Johnson? Maybe a chance of another spinner at old Trafford if the weather remains dry that is a big concern. not just for this series but for the future. starc or bird likely. no idea why they have not given cutting much more of a go. top bowler and scores lots of runs. still reasonably young. but don't rule out cummins being drafted. another injury prone bowler but still only 18? 19? not played much cricket but a future star.
mazolaman Posted July 23, 2013 Author Posted July 23, 2013 The chit chat is that it will be Bird, who looks pretty good. No surprise there are injuries, the Aussies were bowling for all but 4 hours in the fist three days...bound to wear you out! Pattinson also had the highest batting average. He has guts, good payer. Hope Harris can keep going too.
Ken Gargett Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Check tweet from CricketAUS befire it was deleted! To be fair it was an absolute shocker. cricket australia have claimed that the account was hacked - you'd have to think that even the morons that run our cricket can't be that stupid, but?? they are investigating. tho we have heard nothing further. sounds a bit like it might have been some low level dill who'd had a few drinks and got carried away. doesn't he know that if he wants to spew that nonsense, all he has to do is join this forum?
Isotonic Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 When India win in South Africa, England & Australia you may begin to have ridiculous claims like that given a second thought. Until then they will remain flat track (dead track) bullies.
