As another weekend befalls us, what exactly is your ideal weekend?

Out of my close mates;

I know ken likes slow walks in the rain...by himself. Merls (merlo coffee empire) enjoys coming into work Saturday afternoon and rolling naked in his money. Megsa (packaging guru) enjoys nothing more than working on machining a nut from a block of steel, Shagga punches down a dozen beers at the Chardon hotel (the worst hotel in brisbane). He is the brightest person there . Smithy shaves his legs, Di does a blind Sav Blanc tasting ....they apparently are all good...13000 in a row now. Lisa will be swearing at husband Franks Pigeons (Nigerian Albino tumblers if I remember correctly), Wazza will be sleeping with his pet dog (happily), My X is improving her doll making skills (I assume voodoo), Hutley is perfecting his Marine boy haircut, PJ will be renovating his latest caravan..his 4th..(no doubt for long term occupation), Macho will be interfering with cows on his property..."Rancho Not Mucho Dinero", Artie kassos will be platting his back.

So, interfering cows is legal in Australia? A mate was on a country drive once when he saw a man interfering with a sheep. He stopped at the next farm and told the boy who answered the door what he'd seen and asked him to call the police. The boy replied, "That's my D-a-a-a-a-d!"

I work hard so partying hard is a given ,must be the yin to my yang ,in the middle of a shift change at the moment so no more Fridays for a month ....

Will have to organize a couple of flash HERFS to catch up with the boys from the W.A C.U.N.T.A.S crew they are also the best bunch of guys you could ever wish to meet

For me, there's not much better than heading up or down the coast to go freediving with mates, hunting for southern rock lobster and abalone and spearfishing for whiting and snapper. The hot shower and the cold beer afterwards always goes down a treat. Then barbecuing the seafood with a few more drinks as the sun goes down and finish with a good cigar.

Ideal weekends is basically out with my mates enjoying drinks, cigars, conversation and laughter the weekend I dont have my son.

The weekend that I have my son is just spending 100% of my time with him, in the park, improving his football skills (hes 5 and just starting) and spending the time with my family.

I think im gonna spend my weekends following Bill Hayes around! I just got home from work and am trying to break myself into 13 days off with a moonshine/schnapps microwaved combo that's about to make me pass out for at leat half that time.

I'm a way off reinventing my enjoyable weekend.. Difficult being in hospitality as well. I guess currently my good weekend is a good steak or roast and beers with my best mate and maybe a ride. Yeah.. Thats kinda sad isnt it

I work away a lot so the thing I look forward to when I am home on a Saturday is being able to sit on my deck with a strong cup of coffee and a cigar and read the morning paper.

Friday after work is Havana Club for a smoke and either beers or rum. Lately perfect Saturday starts with breakfast with mates, head to LCDH around late morning for some Cubita espresso and one or more cigars followed by various alcoholic beverages depending on who brings what. Afternoon maybe a trip to the beach or snorkeling. Evening watch the sunset at various establishments. Sunday more breakfast with mates followed by beach time if no pressing work is lingering.

Wife isn't on island yet or couldn't you tell.

Move into the new place on the water in west bay so it's possible all this gets scrapped in favor of espresso, paper, party short all sitting watching the waves crash outside the terrace.
