Has any members ever smoked the Sancho Panza Quijote RE 2010

49x194. I have a chance to buy a box from friends in Spain. Any input

on these would go a long way in terms of me buying these smokes.

Thank you, Strider.

I have heard/seen only negative feedback about the Quijote. From the Spanish RE's, I would rank the VR Maestro first, and RA Grandes second (if available). The new Diplomaticos is nice and is true to the marca IMO, and the PL Legendario is promising.

The Espana profile has to be one of my all time favorites.

Espana profile? All the Spanish REs are completely different cigars, there is nothing specifically spanish to them…

As for the Quijote, I too have heard only negative feedback. The RA Grandes can still be found but I believe the VR Maestro is gone.

What exactly is your problem? You seem to be very preoccupied with me...

Thanks for all the info. As a rule I know I can not discuss pricing so if anyone would like to PM me I would glady

Tell them the price. Also, I have received a box of the RE Diplomaticos-Colleccion Privada (box of 10) and they are straight off very good from

the first and only light. Only issue is I wish they were a little longer. Along with them came a 1966 Cohiba overrated,

a Punch-Gran Robusto RE Spain boring and a Bolivar-108 RE Spain nothing to write home about. I am glad

I did not spring for a box of any these mediocre smokes except the Dip's. I am coming to the realization that the RE

smokes that I have tried are not worth the money, and that includes the 1966 Cohiba. Best to stick to the basic

production smokes, more bang for the hard earned buck. One note, these smokes came from Spain by way of a very

reputable owner and store. I don't know about the rest of the RE's or LE's but if I do encounter any of these

in France when I go later this week I'll only buy a stick at a time if I can, the only exception to that rule would be

if I come across a box of La Escepcion Selectos fino Italy 2011 RE. Strider

Love the VR maestros, RA grandes, and the new Diplos

I had one, and only about 2 weeks ago, was decent if not exciting, mellow caramel and straw and mid-weight...

I would agree with you Strider.

Very few RE EL I have smoked have been worth the money.

Regular production for me too...what's left of it!

Pretty sure you can say price if from an LCDH in the country of origin that does not ship...

I'm a bit surprised more people don't like the 108. I am not a big RE/LE fan either, but I found the 108 to be mighty tasty!

Agreed on the 108s - excellent cigar

Got any you don't want then? hungry.gif

Sorry - I had only picked up 3 singles and smoked them all while still in Spain.

The PL Legendarios can be awesome with sometime! I smoked one last summer and then another several weeks ago! Both were extremely promising! I secured a box and plan on putting them down for a nap! I think this may eventually rank with 2010 double gold!
