I stocked up, and regularly smoke 46s. Just the perfect proportions of flavour, body and mongrel.

I have both; a box of RAS from 2011 and Mag46 from 08 both are great smokes and both are within the sweet spot in terms of price.. However, the mags have my vote in terms of consistency, flavor profile and aging potential. :)

I would definitely go with the RA Superiores. I am smoking through boxes from MUR JUN 12 and they are incredible.

As others have said, either choice is a winner. I'm halfway through OPA ENE 10 (Mag) and am about to start on another OGA ABR 12 (Sup). Both are brilliant: the Mag is a potent little brute and the Sup is refined, easier to pick out flavours even with my unrefined palate.

Tough choice. Depending on your budget the Mag 46 may be a better bang for your buck (25s instead of 10s). The Superiores are definitely more approachable young than many RASS or RASCC that I have tried and will likely be good right away. But I have heard really good things about the Mag 46 production over the last several years they so they may be just as good young. Hmmm..I say go with the RA

Get a box of Superiores and get a 5x3 of the magnum 46.

Agreed here. I have 5x3 tubos of Mag 46's. The 2008 and 2011 are the best of that type, with 2008 edging out.

But, RA Superiores from 2011 and 2012 seem to be ahead of the game.

Unless the Mag 46's are from 2008 (UPE box code, I think), I'd recommend to go for the RA Superiores.

While the Mag46 can be a great cigar when you find the right box, the RAS would be my choice. IMHO, the RAS are "superior" (pun intended) to the Mag46.
