New Anillas And Other Beauties

Recommended Posts

I put some of my new personal bands on very lovely and oily Salomones rolled by Santos, some of the last he rolled at the Comodoro Casa del Tabaco ( La Escogida ) before retiring.

And although I brought over some very interesting cigars like the Cabeza Tumbada ( Resting Head ), a smaller 109, the Lusitanias GR or some more of the excellent MC 520, I didn't dare put on more of my new bands on the cigars as I know Cuban officials do not "encourage" having their coat of arms used by foreigners. All other Cubans are proud ...

I am quite used to banding cigars by now, so that will be done here.

As the saying goes : Un tabaco sin anilla es como una casa sin balcon ....

Hurry up - the " famed" rollers are by now counting boxes or serving coffee ...

From no "materia prima" to " no rolling of "special vitolas" like Diademas, Salomones etc - only "approved" vitolas now.

Fear and stupid decisions are running high in Havana lately
