Well I walked from the North End to the Mandarin last night around 11pm for fun. Very strong winds, not a person around...there was a driving ban, so I was just walking down Commonwealth and Boylston st. Kind of cool, except you couldn't see anything. Will post some pics later.

Actually I was in New York the last couple of days. Landed this morning with probably the last plane leaving JFK on Friday. A total of 8 planes were only there when we started. And we started just in time, the wheather changed dramatically afterwards. My colleage was scheduled to fly back with BA to London the same day but they cancelled his flight one day earlier. I heard a total of 5300 flights were cancelled.

Boston seems to be hit pretty hard. Logan airport was closed down and the city (according to the news) will be shut down for 4 days.
