Julz Posted February 1, 2013 Posted February 1, 2013 Hey folks Came here as it was highly recommended. Pretty much a noob to the cigar world. Been breaking in my humidor since Monday, was up to 81% this morning. Nice to meet you all.

Squarehead Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 Welcome to the FOH forum and happy smokes.
Julz Posted February 3, 2013 Author Posted February 3, 2013 Thanks people. Pulled ALL the humidificaction out on Friday, RH is still bouncing around between 80 and 77 percent. Granted it's peak humidity in Sydney at the moment with daily torrential rain. Leaving the lid open seems to invite more humidity. I was seasoning it with a glass moccona lid filled with demineralised water. Hope it sorts itself out soon. I ordered boveda seasoning, calibration and humidi kits some time ago but there were sticks in there too and an invoice error caused a customs delay. Anyway, I'm burning a Luis Martinez eagle robusto Maduro at the moment, it's pretty damn good, Way better than the robusta natural I had on thursday. Amazing difference. Thanks for the link too Trevor. Good reading, straight to the point.
