Hello Trevor, yes / you"re right indeed .... / all the film was gone, that is fact. Booked in advance all the quota of Fuji 8x10 film boxes for Hong Kong in the last 2 years and when it arrived it was delivered to him. Film?? Yes / old fashioned film, remember it ????? :-))))
Nino Posted December 26, 2012 Author Posted December 26, 2012 And : BTW, just back from fantastic 2 days in Guangzhou and enjoying a bottle of 1988 Veuve Clicquot right now with my most generous host, MRN at his home like all these days. This is the most memorable trip I"ve taken in a long memory, believe me. Incredible in all aspects .... More when I"m back home. Nino

Believe me, his climbing is good as he takes the best photographic equipment and preparation, the best film scanning experts, the best drum scanners and the best Heidelberg printing machines. The view from the top is certainly great .... I can personally assure you after seeing first hand the results of the printing with my own eyes here in his home. Again - more when I'm back, including some pictures of the printing results. And a picture or two of me holding the trial printed book in my hands .... Nino

AlohaStyle Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 Spent almost 12 hrs with MRN yesterday having a fantastic dinner al fresco with Scottish oysters Thanks for sharing once again Nino... people like me that love to travel but live in a non-profit working world can live vicariously through you! LOL Great choice on the oysters, another notch on why I like you! LOL If you ever fly through Seattle, make sure to look me up and I can treat you to some good local oysters! Definitely looking forward to the new edition of MRN's book.
maverickdrinker Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Any idea on timeline for the book to be available and potential price point?
