You forgot to add that Rob forgot the chargers for his electronic devices! Which is a good possibility.

Have we ruled out that option that they may not even be in Cuba?

I'm pleased we haven't heard from him.

Actually I have a major part in the reason Rob hasn't been heard from. I did receive a text from one of the guys on tour with Rob last week, stating that Rob didn't have international roaming switched on his phone. He asked me to contact his phone company to get it turned on......

May not have done that yet.

How's the serenity?

as i'm first to get home from Havana (just stepped in a couple hours ago), i can report that this is not the case.LOL!!! "early nights" are winding down around 3 or 4am. Rob hosted a fabulous party at his palatial casa on the water in Miramar, overlooking Havana last night. After which we got Ayala-ed". Ayala-ed: being told to meet at a bar you're unsure of but Rob promises is not to be missed, then going there only to find out your initial suspicions were correct AND Ayala is nowhere to be found!

Back to the communication issue, I do know he was having issues with getting service. I guess we know why now though :)

Rob "Don" Ayala assured everyone present: "What happens on tour...

...goes on the forum."

For the record, from this point forward I will be the arbiter of truth!! :P

Having just gotten back from Cuba today (and now stuck 4 hours waiting for my connecting flight due to delays) I can confirm that Rob is not in jail.....that's the only option I can 100% say for certain (Punch Joe I taking good care of him)!

I did meet him in a cigar lounge where he was sitting with his legs over the arms of a couch....all that was missing was a bottle of wine and he could have been at work in Czar HQ :-)

Oh and the Internet connection is very bad, only 2 hotels near Miramar with decent speed...no data services on phones still (and the Cubans also seem to have helpfully barred text messages to Cuban mobiles from foreign phones so my phone bill is going to be massive)!

Hi guys,

guess I am the only one still in Havana getting detoxed, Rum out of my system and oxygen into my brain ...

Jose hosted us yesterday at his tranquil abode, us being Rob Ayala, Rob Fox, Rob again, Gary, Hamlet was there.

All is good here - comms are terrible to non-existent, but all else is aplenty.

Leaving for home tomorrow - have an overdose of Rum & Cigars by now and look forward to gray and cold and rain :-))

Thanks for the pics Tony, great shot you have posted ( waited 3 hrs to upload them here ... j/k)

Never Havana again ! (Have just reserved a Casa in Vedado for February ...)
