How good are the bones of the '11's and 12's? Have they been consistent? Thanks for your feedback ahead of time.

I have a box of Jun 11. Construction appears to be very good. I can't comment on consistency as I've only smoked one. The one I did try had very nice construction. One light and it burned evenly. No need for touch ups. I'm not sure if my limited experience helps you at all, but figured I'd chime in nonetheless.

11-12 have all been good for the ones I've sampled. Always great construction if a big strong ROTT.

I've had one from my 11 box and it was strong... by far the strongest cigar I have had to date. Great flavour and not harsh.... but I definitely had a buzz (which I liked). Probably going to stash another box away for aging.

FYI.... my box has very dark wrappers... not sure if that is the norm or not.

Current production seems stronger then a few years back, also the wrappers on mostly all of them have turned darker. I liked the 05-09 better, but thes might age up nicely. too soon to tell.

I heard a nasty rumour though, that they might be cancelling this stick . God I hope this is not true. If anyone can confirm or kill this rumour, I'd love to hear. This would be the crown of ***-ups in the Habanos department.

After scouring the net for a while I keep coming across the same list of 'rumoured' discontinuations for 2013:

Until there is an official statement from H.S.A I would say these are nothing more than rumours. The E2 and 898 on that list are a bit of a surprise to me but again this nothing more than what is currently 'rumoured'. I have not been able to find an official statement about any of these.

I paid every time and I am smoking better cigars today, because I heard it, whether it was true or not, at the time

If anyone is willing to take the chance is another question - it is their prerogative, but complaints which come later are just a laughing stock, compared to a little due diligence and information floating on the internet before hand
