G'day all,

I am flying to Brisbane on the Wednesday before the Great Havanathon (going to be amaaazing) and would appreciate some recommendations as to what to do on the Wednesday, thursday and friday.

I, of course, will be herfing it on the friday and saturday nights!

I don't mind doing touristy things and also wonder if there are any good beaches or waterparks?

Any decent bars for night time? Or eateries?

I am staying in the South Bank area a few km's from the Czar house.

I would prefer to stay within the Brisbane metro area as will only have public transport.

Cheers!!

West End which is near South Bank has some good eats. A trip into Fortitude Valley if you want some night life....

You could also catch public transport down to the Gold Coast. If that's your type of thing.

You can get public transport to Wet n Wild if you want waterparks.

You could always hit up Conrad Treasury if you feel like a bet or too.

South Bank itself has some good restaurants.

Give Brookwater or Royal Qld a go

This might be a sadistic fetish but I've always wanted to spend an afternoon at the Czar downstairs sorting the boxes for quality, like they make the new guys do for 6 months! :D

Maybe you can arrange something with Rob and get paid in cigars!

Smithy could also take Dicko to "Wet" - it's kind of a water park, and he has platinum membership......

I heard it's also a clothing optional club... :lookaround:

get fabulously wasted on the czar deck enjoying all the finest wine and liquor Rob can buy while taking in the fireworks BBQ.

sit on $3 plastic chairs on Kens deck whilst smoking $30 cigars and waxing poetic about the latest vintage wine releases.

rinse, and repeat. :spotlight:
