Anyone tried the latest RA?

Just ordered two boxes - will report after I get to try one.

My favorite UK RE so far is the LFDC Short Robusto, followed by the PL Regalias but I never had a chance to try the earlier RA and PL ones.

Agree with the RA Belicosos, but would also add:

2008 Punch Serie d'Oro No.1

2008 La Gloria Cubana Gloriosos

2010 Por Larranaga Regalias de Londres

You're at the mercy of the weather, and she's a cruel beast at this time of year, but I can try and help with some pubs for you.

You're very close to Shepherd Market, it's a nice little square with cobbled streets and plenty of restaurants, shops and pubs on the corner. For pubs, you've got Ye Grapes, Shepherds Tavern and The Market Tavern all on the square and you can smoke outside any of them. If the weather is vaguely decent there'll be plenty of people drinking outside in the evening. You're also very close to Alfie Turmeaus if you want to pick up some smokes. If you want to eat around here, you should go to l'Autre Bistro on Shepherd Street, probably the only time you'll have Polish/Mexican food. You're in time for game season and they do an excellent mixed game plate. There's limited seating on the street outside so you can smoke there after you eat.

Heading north into Mayfair, there's a pub called The Audley, it's at the junction of South Audley Street and Mount Street. They have seating outside and is a nice spot for a smoke. Sautters is also a short walk down Mount Street if you need more smokes! You're very close to Mount Street Gardens and Grosvenor Square, and you can sit on a bench and smoke in both.

If you like coffee, Higgins is a great shop on Duke Street, you can buy beans upstairs and they serve coffee in liquid form downstairs that you can take away if you like.

The Punch Bowl on Farm Street is owned by Guy Ritchie and you'll either see some celebs or hedge fund managers, if that's your thing. It's a nice little pub, but it gets really busy.

The Only Running Footman on Charles Street is more of a pub for dining than drinking, the food has been good whenever i've been there.

If you do want to go to a hotel terrace, the May Fair hotel is on Stratton Street and they have just opened their terrace. A group of us went recently, and the service was pretty erratic but it's a nice space. You can take your own smokes in so long as you spend a minumum of £30. Which is about 2 drinks.

Happy to try and help with anything else if you need any more suggestions.
