CaptainQuintero Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 Constructive time- You know what would have flown off the LCDH shelves despite the added franchise price? A HDM Culebra, everyone would have been happy because the band for them would have been massive too!
Rye Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 The epi #2 is great, and the Double epi is amazing, I'll give these a whirl! after all, winter is coming here, and good short smokes are a welcome treat here!
cckandb24 Posted October 3, 2012 Posted October 3, 2012 No thanks and with the price they will cost, double no thanks

Dozerhead Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 I will stick with epi. no. 2 and petit robustos for much cheaper. I could not agree more.
nikesupremedunk Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Clearly you meant "quadruple no thanks"! He really doesn't like them!
cckandb24 Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 Well not sure why my response was posted 4 times. Sorry guys
mk05 Posted October 4, 2012 Posted October 4, 2012 I will laugh when these are awesome and everyone squirrels boxes away like the Half Coronas. You never know! haha I seriously doubt it...
kyee Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 So what was the general consensus on these? Worth a try?
stargazer14 Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 I hope soon it will be cigars that go on the ' 5 day cleansing diet' and loose weight.
Marker Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 I had one with Dr. Guano in mpls. It was one of the few hoyos I really liked. People can bag on the ring gauge etc. It might have been just the company but I found the cigar better than any Epicure I have had.
IcedCanuck Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 As long as the price point is not ridiculous, due to it being an LCDH release, I'd give them a try at least once just to see what they are like for myself.
IcedCanuck Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 I've seen them between 75-110 at various places online. Not a terrible price compared to other 10ct boxes of LCDH releases. Not too bad of a price then I guess.
Drguano Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 I find them to be tasty little smokes. To paraphrase "Field of Dreams", if Rob sells them, I will buy.
LLC Posted July 28, 2013 Posted July 28, 2013 Not normally my thing but started a few mornings in Havana with this cigar and an Americano. Brought back a few boxes and still treat it as a Saturday morning smoke with an Amerucano. Had one this morning and continue to enjoy them.
Bunner Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 Had one yesterday as well. First one in a while and it has changed for me. At first it was fairly light, but pleasant. Now it is leather and wood and rich tobacco. A solid afternoon smoke. I agree. I think they are worth a purchase or two!
Orion21 Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 But are they worth the premium over the Monte PE as a morning cigar with coffee?
Marker Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Stop buying them. They are not that good. Go find some LGC in Havana and smoke them.
TheKosherStogie Posted July 31, 2013 Posted July 31, 2013 I love these. A great smoke! I think they stand out.
