Strada Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 FOHers, I am organizing a cigar pairing event with the LCDH Montreal this September 22nd19h. I wanted to extend the invitation to FOHers from Montreal or those that will be in town that day. There are 15 places available so if you are interested let me know ASAP (PM) to reserve a place. The cigars will be kept secret but I can tell you will get a 12 years old corona and a 5 years old corona gorda. They were handpicked by Antonio (manager at LCDH) and myself. We chose unusual and under the radar marcas to try something different. The drinks are: 1- An espresso to pair with the first cigar. 2- A two ounce single malt scotch from the following choice. Glenrothes, Laphroaig Quarter Cask and Balvenie Double Wood. There will be a scotch specialist to introduce what you will be drinking and I will do the same for the cigars. The price includes taxes but excludes tips will be 63,50$. VERY IMPORTANT if you say you will be there PLEASE show up as. Please let me know if you have questions!

I got 13 people out of 15 possible (2 drop-outs last minute) and some great vintage and under the radar cigars to smoke paired up with some classic single malts. I will report back tomorrow when the smoke clears.
