Great packaging. Similar to the E2 and so far..a much better cigar than it too. :P

Looks like a corona gorda.

I am definatley interested in these.

Similar, this is 48 x 5.6", while a coronas gordas is 46 x 5.6".

call me crazy but i like the E2.

looking forward to this one too!

Yes, I agree, the E2's have been great for me and as such, I only received my cab of the E2's yesterday!

The Partagas C's look amazing, I hear there is more of a chocolate cream profile on those..

I concur...

IMO, The E2 doesn't deserve to carry the Partagas name. So underwhelming. Great looking stick, but not befitting of the marca. If it was unbanded, I'd say it was a good, mild cigar. I would never guess it was a Partagas.

I have a box of these... I'm still relatively new to determining flavours etc. but the one I sampled was nice.

I imagine there are photos \ images of them everywhere, but if anyone wants something in particular I am happy to oblige?

I think that would be too early to say. What is Partagas...certain older Partagas are so rich, delicate, and refined in its perfume that it makes LGC taste like Febreze. Another Partagas tastes like sugar canes. And another exuding viscous oils, toast, rich creme, and cedary sweetness, tricking you into thinking it was an Upmann.

My point is that Partagas isn't a one trick pony like, say...LGC, Monte, Dips, or PL. coverears.gif There's a lot to the facets of Partagas, three of the many faces to the marca described above. I'm not sure what the E2 does definitively yet, but I'm willing to give it some time. Right now it tastes like a very old refined D4, but who knows what in the future?

Furthermore, you guys are saying this fireproof EL wrappered one yr run cigar is more Partagas than a regular production cigar? I respect your thoughts so I have to buy a couple, but man! blonde.gif

PS - talk about not indicative of marca for Partagas? What about the P1? What was so Partagas about that? Four jars through and it tastes more like a Hamlet or an HdM PP than a Partagas.

Umm. PL and Monte are not 'one-trick ponies.'

Best Regards

Montes are without doubt the flattest and most predictable cigar on the market in my opinion.
