joshua84 Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Have been looking for something interesting to smoke this Christmas. Somehow this cigar came to mind. Anyone have any experience with this cigar which seems to be currently the only diademas in production?
Rushman Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Consistently inconsistent. --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=20.631691,-87.070813
Bahnofstrasse Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Very mild, one dimensional, flavor profile.
CigarmanTim Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 a buddy of mine just smoked one yesterday. 2009 I think.... he didn't care for it.
Lotusguy Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 You might fall asleep before the half way point - they are THAT boring. Nice presentation, though.
Scdalak Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 I like these on the golf course, very 1 dimensional which is fine for that forum. Def not a good choice for sitting back with a nice drink and looking for an enjoyable smoke. Also agree with what Janet (cigcars) said about the smaller vitolas being better.
MIKA27 Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 They do look great but a rather 'Flat' one dimensional mild flavour profile much like the San Cristobal Muralla
joshua84 Posted September 3, 2012 Author Posted September 3, 2012 From the sentiments gathered, it seems that the Monte A might be a better bet.
hanhan Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 From the sentiments gathered, it seems that the Monte A might be a better bet. Cuaba Diademas is not a bad cigar at all. Value for the money I find. Monte A is better of course, at a slightly higher cost. The A deserves concentration while the Diademas can be smoked while doing whatever. The Salomones is more consistent in construction however, in my experience.
