Rehman Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 A VR Famosos goes to the good cause of never going out... Photo by our good friend and BOTLFOHer, Aizuddin Danian.
backslide Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Great photo, what lens and camera did he use?
Rehman Posted September 2, 2012 Author Posted September 2, 2012 Aiz used a Canon EOS 5D Mark II, 135mm lens, f8, 1/125s; and a Canon 580EXII strobe, 30 degrees right, 1/32 power.
Warren Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Nice photo, it takes some technical know how to take pictures like this. I much prefer this photo to the one of you in Lycra bike shorts.
Rehman Posted September 2, 2012 Author Posted September 2, 2012 A momentary lapse of reason, precipitated by a sudden rush of glory to the head. But +1 on the skills our mate Aiz is developing in this latest hobby of his. Have a look at his blog, well-known among FOHers. He has a good "bedside manner", too, for portraiture. We enjoyed our cigars - he had a PLPC from a 2010 cab - as he bustled about with his tripods and brollies and what-all. A pleasant afternoon's companionable conversation - with this as a souvenir. Salud!
Puros Y Vino Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Great photo! I think it's time for another FOH photo contest!
nonameno Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Hi Rehman, Wonderful photograph! It looks very deep and rich. Thank you for sharing. It sounds like you and Aizuddin had a very enjoyable time together. It's always fun to hear about BOTL getting together. Thank you and best wishes, Curtiss
PigFish Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Very classy photo mates! Thanks for sharing. -Piggy
CBL Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 Gorgeous picture! And thanks for posting what kind of gear was used.
Diamondog Posted September 2, 2012 Posted September 2, 2012 That is just a ridiculously good picture!
nikesupremedunk Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Aizuddin seems to be getting better every time I see his photos. Assuming it was a 135L, It's one of the ones on my wanted list...it's just amazing on FF.
adic88 Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Thanks for the kind words, brothers. It fuels my aspirations and heightens my inspiration. Rehman gives me too much credit. He was a joy to photograph; having spent so much time in the spotlight, he instinctively knew what to do (including exhaling very slowly for this shot!).
