Here's my review of the cigar highlight of last week-end's Big Cigar meeting.

I was gifted 2 cigars from a box sent by MRN to good friend and fellow blogger Robert "Montehiba" in Vienna.

The project was to date the cigars and the investigation was documented by Cigar Journal ( see link to all the details in my blog post ).

This 78 year old cigar truly has impressed me with its vitality and perfect taste - incredible but true.

Excellent review Nino. Great photos too. Aged cigars are such a treat in that you really never know what to expect.

I can't even imagine what thrilling experience a cigar this age could be... 1930's - 2012 thinking of all the events that happened, from sheer beauty to mankind's lowest hour, this cigar was there. It makes my head spin!

to my knowledgethe cello wrapper is beenused in the late1950's, an 80 or 70 years old cigars I don't think they carry alot of flavor on them I smoked a lot of aged cigars and most of them are mildin every single way, Unless the stick a power house cigar full on flavor and strength when it's made then you can enjoy it when it aged. It's all psychological matter any way and that's why I enjoy them so much.

Thanks
