Hey everyone!

I'm excited to be here! I was referred by a buddy from InstaGram named "cigarsnlife". My name is Todd, I'm 28 and I live in (well not directly in but within close proximity to) Miami, FL. I'm a reasonably broke college student studying Asian Studies and Japanese Language and I recently (within the past year or so) became enamored with Cigars. I started my fascination for the finer things in life by tasting wines. I lived in Portland, Oregon for 2 1/2 years and whilst living there I developed quite an affinity to wine. Going to the local wine bars and sampling the regions finest wines prompted me to start working in the industry and I obtained my level 1 sommelier certification from USSA back in 2005. This fascination lead to an interest in other areas of libation including scotch and bourbon, which finally on my 27th B-Day brought me to cigars. As first I was unsure if I would like cigars or not, but as I tasted more, and learned more, my appreciation for it grew. Now, I'm a huge fanatic and I seem to always be reading or plunging my face into the world of cigars.

I've been dying to try some Habanos and have sought nearly every possible solution to procuring them to no avail.....a few days ago I was pointed here! Hopefully, in time, I can learn more and experience the wonderful flavor of Cuba.

Welcome to the forum! Get ready to be more broke as you delve into the realm of Habanos!

Haha well currently, I don't even have enough $$$ to purchase a cheap box of Habanos lol. I have noticed however that all my hobbies in life have been relatively expensive (cycling, wine, scotch, cigars, Photography) lol I guess I like the finer things in life?

Welcome to FOH!

There's no better place to talk and learn about habanos! I'm still learning loads everyday. But be careful, it's very addicting! :cigar:

Cigars in general seem to be a very addicting hobby (not actually physiologically addicting lol) but i enjoy learning and experiencing and that in itself is very addicting!
