FOH-ers, again i need your suggestions. I have the option of buying a nov06 or may07 RGPC box.

Any of you who have an experience with boxes of this period - kindly let me know your suggestions - should i go for any of them?

Thanks.

I recently had a box of 06 RG PCs. Pretty mild, not a lot of flavor. I gave away most of them. I guess if you like other RG cigars you might like them. I only bought them out of curiosity. Never had them before.

I am loving the Nov 06s - on my third box. However, I am a declared RG wh.... :D

Thanks for the feedback guys - much appreciated.

Lotusguy, whats the RGpc flavour like?

Floral Montecristo.

Ugh? Floral, sure, but Montecristo? They're too vegetal to be compared with a Montecristo, IMO. Subtle, yes, but there is a reason they are so cheap in some countries…

The whole marca has a malty theme IMO. CE is most popular bc it doesn't show it as much. Lonsdale and Pannie Extra, they show you this chalky, dusty, cocoa and baby powdery flavor and consistency.

The Perla is completely different.

Ha. We can agree to disagree. I have used the floral Monte description before to great applause. Lol

Vegetal? Not really. Or maybe I source better boxes? Haha

I just answered an email from another member about these.

My usual reply... depends on price. I would buy either, or perhaps both of these boxes. RGPC's are top shelf cigars. I have smoked '06 and '07's and can't recall being able to conclude that one was better. I think '06 was a terrific year for PC's.
