CaptainQuintero
I used a plastic paint that people use to paint electric guitars (That piano-black gloss) then a 2-part lacquer to cover and protect

polarbear
CQ, can you please explain the difference between the different colored Dupont Gasses? Do you use Dupont gas or just a high quality gas with an adapter. I only ask because I will have trouble finding Dupont branded gas where I live but do have access to good quality triple refined butane that I use in all my other lighters

I only ask because I will have trouble finding Dupont branded gas where I live but do have access to good quality triple refined butane that I use in all my other lighters As far as I know the only difference between the colours is the type of adapter used on the individual capsules I just use the screw in adapters and colibri gas. Apparently using the official refill capsules can over time bend and damage the refill valve on the lighter as it is forced against foil seal to pierce it.
