MrDowse Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 Hi All, Another newbie here! I've been smoking Cigars for about 6 months after being gifted a couple of Romeo Y Julieta tubos at a wedding. Due to the shocking prices in the UK i tend to limit my intake of Cubans to weekends. I would of course like to change that Recently i've been enjoying Partagas Shorts, RASSC, and Diplomaticos No 2. Happy Smoking! Alan
cottierm Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 Welcome to FOH Alan! Once you know what kind of cigars you like, order them from Czar, it will save you a lot of money! Best, Michel
MrDowse Posted April 3, 2012 Author Posted April 3, 2012 Thanks for the welcome folks. Czar is the reason i ended up here of course. I know shipping is not to be discussed in the open forum, but are members allowed to share their experiences via PM? If so i would love to hear from anyone that has ordered to the UK so i know what to expect. Cheers all and have a good evening...i'm off the pub. Sadly it is far too coldddd here to stand outside and smoke a stogie
jacktarnold Posted April 3, 2012 Posted April 3, 2012 Welcome to the forum hope you enjoy the great group of people here.

CanuckSARTech Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Yes, PMs on the subject are allowed and encouraged - just no open discussion. Cheers and welcome.
MrDowse Posted April 5, 2012 Author Posted April 5, 2012 Thanks All for the warm welcome. David, i'm afraid i haven't visited JJ Fox yet It's the other side of town to where i work and i tend to stick to my local brick and mortar store or other UK based internet merchants. It's on my to do list though, as I know you are allowed to sample your purchases on the premises, due to special exemption from the smoking ban
winelover Posted April 7, 2012 Posted April 7, 2012 Hi Alan, I'm from the UK too in south London. FOH is a great place to be and serves many satisfied customers round the world including in the UK. I have never bought more than a single here due to our sky high taxes but it is convenient picking up a montecristo petit tubos from a supermarket. IMO these are the best easily accessible smokes and I've never ever had a dud, they've all been on the money. You should check our the FOH youtube channel if you haven't done so already. So many great reviews. Cheers Graham
MrDowse Posted April 9, 2012 Author Posted April 9, 2012 Cheers Graham from one 'Sarf' London boy to another. I'm very pleased to have found this place...my wife of course is even happier for the sake of her handbag fund I've been buying mostly singles for a while and it's painful especially when you get a dud. Plans afoot to change that soon and i've even managed to convince the Mrs that upgrading to a Coolador asap will be a sensible option...oops I have seen some of the reviews and they are excellent. First came across El Presidente when i had my first Party Short and was looking to see what others thought but it's taken me another another 3 months to make the link to here...doh!
