isa Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Hello everyone here I am very new to regular cigar smoking - started beginning of this year. Before that it was once in a while when visiting restaurants/hotels - pretty casual. As i started looking for information about CCs, i ended up going more and more through FOH and Rob's videos with Ken & Smithy - great fun & a lot of information. So after lurking here for a few months, decided to become a member. I have been procuring ciagrs mainly based on reviews here - but then the consistency varies so much( disclaimer: not from czar ) that its really confusing !Hope to learn & share a lot more here. br.

isa Posted March 14, 2012 Author Posted March 14, 2012 Thanks everyone for your kind words @laficion, i have just tried a few vitolas, among them some of the ones that i have enjoyed are Lusitania, PSD4, CoRo, BPC, Trini Reyes, ERDM demitasse, Behike 52. The HDM des dieux(2003) is also pretty enjoyable, though not my favourite as of now Of course, there are so many that i havent even sampled! Initially i thought that a fonseca kdt was a great smoke - after smoking more vitolas regularly, i felt that it was a premature opinion @Trevor, i believe i have gone through the rules & guidelines, nevertheless i will have a look again. Isa.
mazolaman Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Welcome along Br, don't be frightened to let us know your favourites, or to ask for opinions.
aavkk Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 welcome to the forum! Regretfully my wife and I's tour of Asia last year was limited to Delhi and Agra in India. We found Delhi overwhelming and the Taj to be truly jawdropping. We know India offers so much more but alas, not enough time...
isa Posted March 14, 2012 Author Posted March 14, 2012 @mazolaman - i have mentioned some of my favourites in this topic. And sure , i will have lots of clarifications & questions from time to time @avvkk - Good to know that u had visited Delhi & Agra, pretty close to where i stay & yes, it can be quite a surprising experience when visiting from a developed country - i perfectly understand that It overwhelms me too when i return from an Europe tour - at least, the first few days !!
