Colt45 Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 a rusty knife a doctor's whim if only I'd gone to the gym instead of smoking cigars and drinking wine perhaps my heart would now be fine alas it now is all too late resigned myself unto my fate when I look back upon this life I'll smile at all my hard earned strife 'twould have been wise to've lived life less a constant rhythm in my chest mundane existence cannot abide shooting star and full moon tide this day the reaper on the run hoist the sails lads, pass the rum!

Cheers Ross, very well put! No regrets, live life fully, and enjoy everything that comes your way. Smithy, time for you to fly the jolly roger flag above Czar's HQ for when Rob shows back up to work!!! (You guys do actually have one, right??? )
Warren Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Got a message from Rob after his procedure this afternoon. They are keeping him in over night but he must have been feeling fine as he said see you tomorrow mate which means he intends to be up on the deck with cigar in hand and telling wild stories again. You can't keep a good pirate down. Aaarrrrrrr maties where's me buccaneers. There on your buccanhead.
El Presidente Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Cheers Fellas I should be out 10am tomorrow. Yes...in time for Friday Poker/cigar and a whisky Soda Have no idea if the proceedure went well or not. Haven't seen my cadiologist since the operating theatre. That either means he botched it and he has gone into hiding or that he is going to leave me sweat it out until the morning rounds. Feeling fine, tad groggy, chest a little sore but all good. Nurses have been great each and every one of them. I am the only guy here who they make black tea for every 30 minutes. Sincere thankyou to all of them except Pam who just before I went under said "Don't worry Rob...we hardly lose anyone.....but how lucky could you be should I be the last thing you see"......my last recollection was of her laughing to herself See you tomorrow.
CanuckSARTech Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Oh man, you gotta watch those nurses! Trust me, they've got a dark and twisted sense of humour!!! Skilled, intellegent, caring, nurturing, sexy-looking-in-a-cute-outfit, highly trained. And yet....devil women!!!!! Yes, the Mrs. is a nurse. Why do you ask? How can you tell???!?
