This week I'm still sticking with smoking the Petit Corona size, and I decided to try Bolivar Petit Corona.I was at my local tobacconist and decided to pick up a small Bolivar during the supposed snow storm last week. Before I left my tobacconist he gave me an extra cigar to try, on the house. I wasn’t expecting him to give me a 20 dollar cigar, he gave me a Jose L. Piedra to try he told me “some ppl like them most hate tell me what you think”.... :thumbsdwn: I smoked this first then went on to the Bolivar. Washing it all down with some El Dorado 21 year old rum. :buddies:

This cigar gave off a horrible smell, its that type of smell all cigar smokers know , the dreaded smell of a cheap cigar LOL. Taste wise it was a creamy smoke but just filled with tobacco flavour the draw was way too tight. After 1/3 tossed it never to be smoked again.

Cold Darw: The cigar looked very nice a very strong milk chocolate smell coming off the wrapper, the draw was a perfect Cuban draw tight but not too tight, on the cold draw getting floral and chocolate notes.

The First Third: Taste like morning dark coffee with a salty after taste, the coffee flavour in this Petit Corona is the best I’ve had it taste exactly like a Starbucks cafe Americano.

The Second Third: This is where the cigar really impressed me I got super sweet coffee notes mixed with short bread really yummy. The smoke still maintained a creamy texture and left my mouth feeling a little oily.

The Last: Wow it taste like I just ate a spoonful of dark chocolate mousse , this is then mixed with a stronger coffee taste almost espresso but not that strong, it was more of a taste of drinking black coffee without any sugar or milk. Towards the end it got a little bitter but I believe the cigar was just heating up.

Overall: Wow impressive everyone was telling me this cigar was great, but I didn’t expect it to be this good, I’m a fan of the sweet coffee like cigars so this was right up my alley. Once again I would love to try a larger ring gauge once the weather outside Toronto gets better, then I can sit outside for an hour and a half and really enjoy without my hands freezing. Personally I would give this cigar a 91/100 great flavours, wished there was a little spice throw into this cigar but this is a 100% morning cigar. Thanks again for reading :spotlight:

P.S I Know I Know focus that camera lol i'm stop doing these with my Ipone next time.

hey thanks for sharing - In the past 2-3 months or so, I don't think I've heard a single negative comment about the Boli PC...people seem to be loving them across the board. I busted one out on Sunday and it was splendid.

What kind of Benz you rockin?

Went through couple boxes of bpcs 07 & 08, and they never thrilled me. I think they tasted like peppery cardboard. Maybe the new ones are different?

I didn't remember the factory code but I remember they are 11's very new /& its a E-class &/ yes get these for sure not sure how the old ones taste but I say don't even need to age the 11's if they taste that good out the box, i'd be afraid that that dark chocolate mousse taste would dissipate.

You have now enought post to go on the trading forum and try to find one for trade :jester:

Yes I do. OR just order a whole box for myself. I have never seen a bad review of these. Should have gotten these in my last order vs the HdM Epicure #2. Dammit

take pictures with your iPhone but wait until the white square appears for focus. Then e-mail them to yourself at smallest resolution.

Then your photos will be in focus and load faster.
