Tied with Canada, and well ahead of Russia.
brazoseagle Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 San Antonio, TX here. I may know some of you from other forums. Good to be here. Howdy & Welcome. It's nice to see our Texas numbers growing in here. For a while, there was just a couple of us here. The Forum is great, explore some of the threads, get to know some of the great people, and you will love it. (Best Forum out there!!!!) Myself and some other FOH brothers are located in the Dallas area and outlying suburbs, and there are several in Austin and Several in Houston. From time to time I organize some Texas cigar get togethers. My wife and I spent 3 years in San Antonio, (lived out by Helotes), while I was in Law School. We still go back very often. I have a great recent story at the San Antonio Dave and Busters, that is the only place to still allow smoke, but not cigar smoke, but no one told me, until after I lit up a beautiful Monte #2. Needless to say, I held my ground and smoked an amazing cigar inside Dave & Busters in San Antonio about 6 months ago. Welcome!!
hammondc Posted February 24, 2012 Author Posted February 24, 2012 Good to know. My wife and I just moved here in 2009 from South Carolina. We live up near the Stone Oak area. Let me know next time you are around.

hammondc Posted February 25, 2012 Author Posted February 25, 2012 Welcome Hammondc. Me and my wife just spent our anniversary at the Mokara hotel there in SA not too long ago. Spa days for her cigars and drinks for me BADASS hotel. I was toying with the idea of getting one of the riverwalk balcony rooms for a night.
bacalao Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 BADASS hotel. I was toying with the idea of getting one of the riverwalk balcony rooms for a night. Highly recommend it they took great care of us. Get a balcony room non smoking hotel but they looked the other way when I asked for an ashtray for the balcony. They still let you smoke on the riverwalk though.
