Scarhead Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 I'm going to head to the liquor store this evening and I need help with picking something. I want to try either scotch or port, but I am open to suggestions. I do not want something that will overpower the cigar, but rather complement it. I was hoping there would be a sampler of smaller bottles to buy. Years ago I had a Glenlivet with a La Gloria Cubana Corona Gorda maduro (Dominican) that was an absolute sublime combo. Suggestions based on experience would be greatly appreciated.
riazp Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 One combo i really enjoyed the other night is the balvenie doublewood with my cigar, very nice smooth whisky.
Scarhead Posted November 18, 2011 Author Posted November 18, 2011 I'm glad you phrased it that...smooth. That's what I'm looking for. Something smooth that doesn't have an alcohol presence
