We avoided each other for most of the day

Each time we bumped into each other we both reverted to tears :lookaround:

It is not easy when best friends part knowing full well that what we have shared, done, built, ups and downs for the past decade will never be the same again. A new chapter opens for both of us, I wish I could write hers and she write mine. I look forward to being an uncle again :D

We had a lovely BBQ lunch today with Smithy and Diana, great bottlle of Tattinger 1996...Lise had the smallest of sips. We laughed, reminisced, talked about the past, present and future. I really can't imagine day to day life without her. It is not the business side, just Lise's care and loving to belt me over the head and put me on the right tract....in all aspects of my life. I am not the easiest person to control.

I am blessed. Diana (Lisa's sis) has taken over her role. Di is cut from the same cloth ....I love her dearly as well ;) .Smithy is stepping up to the plate (and he plenty on his plate with the success of our ShooAway product internationally),He seriously is a rock. My son Ben joins the team after his exams next week and a quick sojourn to the beach...aka "Spring Break". He will be studying Geophysics at university. Actually. many of you will remember Simon (my nephew) who joined us as a university student at 18 He has been accepted in a graduate management role in the worlds largest mining company BHP. Congrats Simon! You are the only 22 year old who knows every vitola of Cuban cigar and flavour profile!

How I would love to have Lisa's child do the same. :D

So .....tough day at the office. plenty of laughter, many tears. To Lise I have said all I wanted to say .....and see you at the hospital for the delivery 20th December ;)

One person shouldn't be blessed by so many great people around them.

Perhaps it's true what they say then - "God looks after drunks and fools".....

P.S. Congrats Minismithy  And good luck, Ben :lookaround:

good luck with the delivery Lisa, and transition to motherhood....it's a beautiful time, really. it's been said may times before but i think its worth repeating - your friendly and quality service to Czar clients cannot be praised enough. indeed it seems to be the model and standard by which Czar/FOH operates.

nicely said Rob. i recall you talking with such passion about your hopes and wishes for Lisa wrt to her pregnancy when you were with us in Toronto. it's clear you'll make a fantastic uncle.

it's also clear that it's an emotional time 'round the shop. be sure to get yourself a dainty dog and some 1/4 advils to cope. :rotfl:

Why do I have a feeling that the cigars shipping out this week will be more humid than usual...LOL

Lisa, once again, enjoy motherhood. You worked hard to acheive this ultimate goal and I wish you and Frank all the joy in the world. Rob, Smithy, Di and Kurt will do fine without you...hopefully :lookaround: LOL.

Be sure to pop in the forums once in a while while your little one is sleeping to say hi!

Thats quiet true Colt ?

But if there is such a thing as God he or she certainly sent Rob and Angel to look after him.

I know that I am certainly better for knowing her

Once again sweetheart all the very best for yourself and Frank

Cheers
