brazoseagle Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 I made the comment earlier, but I figured I'd post it to get some chatter going on the subject: Rob, I propose, neigh, plead for the following: A Cigar Czar FOH Cigar Gift Registry portion on the website I want to place all the cigars I want (need) in a saved registry just for me, and my wife and family can go on there for Christmas and my Birthday and actually buy me gifts that I want for a change. I am fed up with socks, robes, ties, beer mugs, cologne and house shoes. I'm a man damnit, and I have a fever, the only cure is more cigars! It can come in handy for Christmas, Birthdays, Weddings, Graduations, and any other milestone or celebration one receives gifts for. I need this, I gots'ta have it! I play for keeps, your thoughts? For those that don't like my idea, you are welcome to trade me cigars for a collection of nice robes, warm socks, slick neck ties, classy cologne, large tins of mixed nuts, cheesy beer mugs and comfy house shoes. PM me if interested !

Hope i helped! actually, the cigar locker is for stuff you've already bought.. so yea i can see qhere you would want a loved one to actually buy something on your list.... maybe a wishlist on each members page?? lol

The wife just goes over and they look me up and she knows what I've bought the most of. Her problem solved. I'm sure the Czar has tracking of past orders. Absent that, the Luddite method of a piece of paper with my desired list of purchases on it has always worked well for me!

Well played, but alas, still not the same concept, and if used as the same concept could be detrimental. If you used the wishlist function for a gift registry, it would require me giving out my FOH/Czar login to friends, family and wife. 2 problems with this: 1) It negates any surprise involved with gifting if you give a person your login so they can get you cigars. 2)******My wife having my login will enable her to view account info INCLUDING PAST PURCHASES!!!!! Not Going To Happen!!!
