I haven't smoked a Monte No.4 in a few years. Mostly smoke the No.5's which I'm currently out of. Sounds like it's time for me to pick some up and give them a try again.

When a monte is on it is fantastic. I used to love the Monte No.4 but I have had more crappy boxes of Montes than I have good which is why I have more or less given up on the brand as a whole. I find they're off more often than not. Maybe I've just had really bad luck with them but out of all the brands they seem to be the most inconsistent with what little experience I have had with them.

Nice burn.... It looks like a stick of chocolate. I have both 4 and 5's coming. Hope they don't disappoint.

The Monte 4's are one of my favorite PCs. Have 4 boxes at the moment. A bit bullish young, and from my experience, smooth out over time. Keep on smoking :peace:

There you go, smokin' up all the profits again!

Not sure I could run a cigar store and figure out how NOT to smoke everything in sight.

It's hard, its literally like being a kid in a candy store. I had to start buying boxes just for me, sticking them in a humidor and not on the shelf.

Last night, it was my wife's fault. I smoke alot of double coronas, churchills, etc, and she said "lets smoke a small cigar tonight" - Ididnt have any of those in my personal stash, so I was left with no other option but to raid the shelves. I flipped a coin between the monte 4 and the siglo 2.

Honestly, I let the fact that I have plenty of time to smoke make it too easy NOT to smoke PC's and other smaller sticks. I thoroughly enjoyed the Monte 4 last night, and the Partagas Lonsdale (thanks BobLobLaw) the night before. They say variety is the spice of life, so I need to build in some short and skinny and some long and skinny into my routine.

Every time I walk into my B&M humidor I get that candy store feeling. The only thing that stops me is the rather enormous bill I could run up. Not sure I'd be able to show ANY restraint if I was in your shoes. I'd also be smoking a lot more than my typical one evening cigar per day.
