MrGlass Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 I've been put off Bolivar. That flavour profile seems to do nothing for me, and my girlfriend hates the smell of them. I also got a 10 box of Partagas 8-9-8's to see what all the fuss was about, but I'm still none the wiser and, in fact, disappointed.

Piedra, Sancho Panza, Vegueros and Juan Lopez...

Cig Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Most recently, Punch punch. Had some tubos that were pretty good. Decided to get a box (not from czar) because they're pretty cheap. Probably one of the worst boxes I've bought.

TonyV Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 ERDM Choix Supreme , only had 2 good sticks out of a ten pack.Tried again with a box purchase.It ended up being the only cigars i ever returned to the vendor.(not czar cigars) Thought they would be good for a quick morning cigar with a coffee.I've seen them on LFTH,but....
Hohenthal Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 For me the scariest box was Trinidad Coloniales AML NOV 06 - Cigars from the top layer were amongst my personal top ten experiences (!), second layer average, third layer AWFULL! Green wrappers, not properly fermented filler, no taste or flavour whatsoever (not even bad, just completely empty - if cigars were like that, I would turn into a non smoker without hesitation). Last layer made a half hearted comeback. Another Trinidad box I had, Reyes OUR JUN 08, was consistency personified. Odd?
