tempbond Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 Hello gents, I am going to Cuba next Saturday and I was wondering if you could suggest what is in your opinion the best corona sized cigar (or close to that size). I want to bring back a few exemples of the best Habanos has to offer, but I do tend to like the corona size, but I will smoke any size (they're cubans after all !) Thank you !
bassman Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 If you can find any (last made in 2006), Bolivar Coronas are wonderful.
hoyopr Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 I would second the Boli C and add Dip #3's (also discontinued 2006) and Boli Corona Extra.
PigFish Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 I cannot comment about what you can find in the Motherland but I can endorse any Coronas. I think if you are looking for best current production, I would say QDO. Good luck on your journey. -
finecigar Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 Bolivar is my personal favorite for their corona, as well as their other sizes available. Better yet... Don't worry about it while you are there or finding genuine cigars, just order a sampler pack with all varieties from the cigar-czar. This company/ forum will get you better, more affordable variety than what is probably found in Cuba.
