HabanosHoser Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 Hello Everyone, My name is Simon and I'm new to the cigar world. I have enjoyed a cigar here and there in the past but only recently have I come to truly appreciate them. A couple of weeks ago my father introduced me to the Partagas 8-9-8 Varnished, Lusitania and many other fabulous Habanos specimens. After a few nights of sharing in his exceptional collection of cigars I realized that I've been missing out! Suffice to say, a large humidor is on order... Next up, a box of Partagas 8-9-8 Varnished and Partagas Lusitanias. But where do I go from there? Samplers seems like a good option. Of all the samplers available from the Czar, I'm curious as to what the forum members recommend most? I'm thinking Piramide, but please share your thoughts. This forum is a fantastic resource for budding enthusiasts like me. Thanks in advance for your wisdom. Glad to be here, Simon

Puros Y Vino Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 Welcome to FOH. I grabbed the 2009 Pacific Regional Sampler. The cigars are beautifully constructed. And as RE's there aren't a lot around so get to them sooner than later.

IcedCanuck Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 Welcome aboard, looks like we're in the same nick of the woods. I'd recommend a Robusto sampler. Cohiba, all types I've tried, have never let me down.
