Greetings Brothers and Sisters of the Leaf,

I am looking for some good reading material on Cuban Cigars (and cigars in general). Are there any books you guys and gals would suggest? What about magazines? Blogs? Websites (Other than here of course :covermouth: )

I have learned so much just from reading all the archived posts on here. I am hungry for even more. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :P

Here's what I posted on another book thread.

An Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Post-Revolution Havana Cigars. Min Ron Nee. 2005.

The Great Habano Factories. Adriana Martinez Rius. 2005.

The Havana Cigar. Charles Del Todesco. 1997.

This is far from an exhaustive list, just the books that I use the most. Don't know about one being better or worse. I see them as complementary.

I have several other books on my cigar book shelf but they are short on information and long on photos of famous people smoking cigars. They're OK to look through once in a while but not very helpful or useful in my opinion.

Go to Mark Neff's www.cigarmony.com site and look for "European Cigar-Cult Journal" magazine. It's out of Germany and is bi-lingual. I've had him acquire for me all kinds of back and current issues of this magazine and it is FANTASTIC for all things (except commercial brand cigarettes) tobacco, i.e., pipes, pipe tobacco and especially CIGARS - Cuban and other parts of the world. It is truly a hidden wonder of a cigar and tobacco related publication.

X2 on the European Cigar Cult Magazine. Top notch.

There's always CA, though the cigar content seems to wane.

I just picked up my first issue of Smoke Magazine. Pretty good, more content than CA.

I like this site for user based reviews. I have a few books at home that are pretty good reads. I'll post titles and ISBN's later. One of them is by Davidoff himself. Very "boutiquey" to own. First print too!
