El Presidente Posted June 19, 2011 Posted June 19, 2011 We are progressively finding out which Cuban Cigar has the highest rate of member satisfaction (and the lowest). I will run through the 30 most popular cigars during April/May/June and will provide an ongoing chart to see how the cigars stack up. It should go without saying to only vote if you have actually tried one Feel free to post your experiences and thoughts on the thread Todays cigar: Bolivar Corona Gigante
investandprosper Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 Smoked a couple from an HQ 50 cab from '08, and they are exceptional! Great Boli flavors, but milder than the CE or Junior. Great for a mellow couple of hours.
olotti Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 Not a churchill I would buy if I wanted true Bolivar flavor but the few I had dated from 01-04 and had distinct floral notes very unique. So I voter generally good but if I want real Boli flavor I go BCJ or BCE.
Rogers72 Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 I voted it disappointing. It's a cigar that I REALLY wanted to like as I love Bolivar and love Churchills but all that I have had (admittedly only 1 box + a dozen or so singles) have been light and bland.
laficion Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 The King. A great Bolivar together with the Bolivar Coronas Extra.
bassman Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 Smoked many from 97, 02, 03 & 06. Never had a bad one. My favorite Churchill.
joeypots Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 Tough to go wrong with the BCG. Light one of these up and you know you are smoking a Cuban cigar.
sg1234 Posted June 20, 2011 Posted June 20, 2011 My favorite Churchill. Mine too. My cab of TEB MAR 08's has been a gem.
