I've decided to do my first review on a cigar that I believe makes an excellent every day smoke.

Juan Lopez Seleccion No 2 Box Code TEM ABR 10

Pre Cut Aroma:

Cedary notes with a hint of vanilla essence

Draw:

Nice and loose, not too tight

Initial Light and Aromas:

Tabacco flavors, cedar, and some hints of ginger on the lips.

First third:

Burn has not been consistent.

Predominant flavors of rich tobacco, toasted bread, and hint of spice (not too hot)

Second third:

Burn evened out.

Flavor profile remains but with more cedar and pepper as the over powering notes.

Last Third:

tasted some hints of dark coffee, rich tobacco, and cedar-pepper wood.

Overall, the Juan Lopez has always impressed me as an everyday smoke. It is hard to let go once you reached the last third as the best notes become more prevelant.

This is one of the most aromatic cigars out there.... I can't stand these with less than a year or two on them.... seriosly, these sticks transform like no other after a couple of years.

I've enjoyed ther few J-Lo No.2's that I've smoked.

They are my friends at the local lounge everyday smoke as well. He told me over the weekend that he's gone through 5 boxes so far this year.
