scottkenda
That is sooo cool. I've also had a similiar experience to yours, but mine pales in comparison. I was in a persons basement doing some work, and I noticed a Partagas sampler humidor from the pre-embargo days. It was in almost perfect condition, and the person had no idea what he had, but no matter how I asked, he wasn't interested in selling it. The other time I came across a unopened pre-embargo box of Por Larranaga Nacionales, CCC, at an antique store. The box was originally purchased at the Por Larranaga factory in 1956. This I was able to buy for $40, and they are in excellent shape. Thanks for sharing these storys, and photos with us, it's reminds me how wonderful cigars are. Like I would ever forget.
