gigabyte056 Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 WHO Seems like BS to me, yet another "better safe than sorry" It has been proven statisticly that reading statistics will reduce the life expectancy in grown mammals:lol:
OZCUBAN Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 Theres an easy solution to this all cell phones must come in plain packaging (cos that will stop the cancer)
bolivr Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 Slap a huge tax on them, that will cure the problem. I think Warren is on to it. Think of the number of calls made now with mobiles and the projected growth. Governments see an opportunity and want a piece of the action. How to do that? The tobacco model works - impose ever increasing taxes to make the calls more expensive so we all cut down 'for our health'.
rsd Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 The key word is "possible" risk. They're putting the cancer risk from cellphones in the same class as that of the risk from coffee from what I've read.

That'd mean also that we'd see some real ugly stickers on all mobile phones... To remind me how dangerous my mobile is... from today, I have Cypress Hill's "Insane in the membrane" as my ringtone...
IcedCanuck Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 Smells like another government cash grab is on its way. I wonder how they'll decide to add a tax to this. Maybe add tax on all cell phones and then add another tax on your monthly bill or perhaps add a tax to every second spent on a cell phone.
