Cig Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 It's so predictable. I knew what this article was going to say before I read it and I knew the tone of it as well. Of course there are risks, but everything is so fear driven nowadays. It's amazing people can allow themselves to enjoy anything any more. http://health.msn.com/health-topics/quit-s...3>1=31020

pedromendes Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Here's a much better, and more thorough article: http://www.cigardiary.com/index.php?module...&PAGE_id=30 Note his main finding: "The 1-2 cigar/day user who doesn't inhale is not at serious risk for developing cancer or heart disease." So if you're like me, and more like 1-2 a week, RELAX!!
Cig Posted April 28, 2011 Author Posted April 28, 2011 I'm more like 1-3 a day, but it doesn't bother me at this point.
gigabyte056 Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Get busy living or get busy dying as the saying goes. People are so into living long, well what about actually enjoying our time on earth? 1-2 cigars a day. don't inhale and you will be just fine. Unless that cell phone is carcinogenic, in that case we're all screwed
laficion Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 1-2 cigars a day. don't inhale and you will be just fine.Unless that cell phone is carcinogenic, in that case we're all screwed I smoke 2 or 3 a day BUT I don't have a cell phone anymore, I guess I'm even then.
LeafLover Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 I'm going down knowing I enjoyed myself prior to my death bed: cigars, scotch and lots of red meat. When it's my time, it's my time.

gr8tdanz Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Remember the old joke saying that if you quit smoking, drinking and chasing women you don't live longer, it just feels like it. I figure I have to die of something, might as well enjoy what time I have here.
