I would guess that almost half of NHL players are Canadian born. With salary caps and free agency, teams rosters change on an annual basis. If fans decided to base their loyalty on where different team's players came from, they would change teams yearly. I'm a Canadian living in Vancouver, BC and cheering for a team on the other side of my country. Where the players come from has absolutely nothing to do with anything. We cheer for them because they're a storied franchise.

I was just pointing out that the NHL is filled with Canadian players. Doesn't make me a Canadian fan, nothing will ever do that or any less of a Boston fan. I'm a fan of anyone wearing a Boston Jersey. I got no problem with where they come from.

That has got to be the most lousy officiating I've seen in a while, and on both sides! From the whistle blow to early on the Thomas save, which should have been a montreal goal, to the flops and fake montreal falls etc, I don't think the refs had any control last night and that is to bad. Lucic a game misconduct? wow.... It has been such a great series, I like to see it decided on the ice, let's hope for a better game tonight!
