El Presidente Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 We are progressively finding out which Cuban Cigar has the highest rate of member satisfaction (and the lowest). I will run through the 30 most popular cigars during April and will provide an ongoing chart to see how the cigars stack up. It should go without saying to only vote if you have actually tried one Feel free to post your experiences and thoughts on the thread Todays cigar: Trinidad Reyes Results to date:
capecc Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Had the equivalent of about two boxes of these in the past year and almost each one was a rock star cigar
ColKurtz Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 I have yet to be disappointed with one. Some good cigars listed in these polls so far.
sg1234 Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 I smoked one at the LCDH in Puerto Vallarta that was simply amazing. I smoked another single (which I believe I got in a trade) and it too was fantastic. I bought two December 09 boxes and they have a long way to go. I have sampled 3 now, about 6 months apart, and they are nowhere near ready, if they ever will be. I voted generally an average cigar, since I have been underwhelmed more times than I have been blown away.
Lotus400 Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 In my morning rotation with Party Shorts, RASCC, and BCJ. Always a great experience in my limited sampling of 3 cabs.
dB69 Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 I smoke these every now and then and they are always wonderful cigars.
Rogers72 Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Construction is impeccable. Burn is perfect. Flavors dance intensely. Always pleases. Always.
Yoruba Hacker Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Feel free to eliminate the "generally' qualifier here. Always.
treco Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 In 22 years of cigar smoking, i've never had any Trinidad. Weird? Yes, I thought so...lol
thechenman Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 This is a great cigar...I've only been disappointed once by a plugged cigar, our of many. I tend to always have these on hand, and I love the flavors. Outside of the typical grassiness that comes with this marca, I always get phenomenal hints of tea. Truly a fantastic cigar and fairly complex given its size.
SCgarman Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Very nice subtle spice flavors, perfect construction and burn, wish it was a little bit longer of a cigar for maybe 15 more minutes of smoking time. The Robusto T to me is just too darn expensive for what it delivers. This Reyes is a great value for the money.
tsolomon Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 I have only had one that was plugged and the rest have been very good.
