mkz Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Great and interesting review of a cigar I´ve totally forgotten about! Are these available through Czar´s and if so, whats the price for a box?
headstand Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Is it just me, or are those Culebras generating impressively thick clouds of smoke? I like that in a cigar.
Holysmokes Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Nice review guys! I've always wanted to try these but when it comes time to pick them up, I always diverge towards another cigar I've been meaning to try. One day...
khomeinist Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 The perfect cigar when meeting up with a couple of close friends for drinks. A quality smoke that represents the Partagas profile quite well. The crooked shape is a talking point. The cigar is not terribly expensive. You won't mind if one of your mates pitches it early. A true party cigar. Should not be deleted as it fits a specific niche. Enjoy!
bc8436 Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Sounds like an intriguing cigar. Please let us know if this is available, as I'd be interested in picking up some.
shrink Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 The newer, hand-made Culebras are classic, full-bodied Partagas. It's one of the few Partagas still being rolled that is reminiscent of the old blends. Another classic must-try is the Party Petit Corona Especiale. The '08s and later are strong and tasty.
mazolaman Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Intersting review,I'd dismissed these as an oddity.....wrong again.
Seriesteve Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Aye Aye Guy's A fine review as per normal Love these Partys as you say great with friends You didnt mention the Highland Park ! Did you like it ? Did it match the Cigar ? Seriesteve
Torontonian Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Thanks for the review. 'Draw's always perfect . . .' Bizarre.
Dbone Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Thanks for the review gents. I've always been intrigued by this cigars construction, but have never had any desire to purchase it. I guess by the appearance I took it as a novelty, but not a serious smoke. Sounds like a real flavor bomb.
thechenman Posted March 16, 2011 Posted March 16, 2011 Thanks for the review guys. I've always enjoyed this cigar. Tried it as a novelty, but I ended up being impressed.
