bolivr Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 Yeah, curious too. A 10 box wouldn't harm the budget too much

That was after a Cohiba 1966 that I had to put down, too wet. Still working on pictures.

josie67 Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 I smoked both the royal robusto and the half corona at the festival, and both were VERY GOOD. Fortunately I brought home the Cohiba 1966.....I wanted to smoke that in the comfort of my own home. For me though, the best cigar BY FAR at the festival was the Montecristo Gran Reserva. Same size as the Monte 2....tasted like the Monte 2 but on steroids. It had power and spice, and a huge finish. Going to be spectacular with a correspondingly spectacular price tag.

You know, I saw those Monte 2's, and they very much interested me. But, then I thought again, and I just figured for the same price, I could easily buy MULTIPLE boxes of Monte 2's from 2009/2010, of which the tobacco being used for these rollings is just as spectacular, and then just age them on my own for 5 years before I touch them. Quandry solved, more cigars bought and enjoyed. Winning!!!!
tmac77 Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 I hear that these will be shipping soon to LCDH's around the world. look forward to trying one myself as I generally enjoy most of the Upmann vitola's
Lotusguy Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 I'll be picking up a box if they aren't priced outrageously.
Ghabanos Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 I'm a very visual person. Any personal pics of the royal robusto?
